Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG 2004

GAVIOLI

Grape Type: Prugnolo Gentile and Canaiolo Nero
Ageing: In oak barrels for 24 months

Refinement in Bottles: 6 months

Characteristics: Exceptionally deep and ruby red color with veins of garnet. The bouquet is intense and delicate, developing wild fruits and culminating in rich spicy flavors with a persistent background of vanilla, tobacco leather and slights hints of balsam. Warm and smooth on the palate, wide, complex, long and persistent. Good balance between the alcohol, acid and tannic components. Great structure and longevity

Alcohol:  13.5 % by volume

Serving: 19°C / 67° F, 

Ideally savored with: Red meat, roast, game, seasoned cheeses

GAVIOLI

Grape Type:

Sangiovese 90%, Canaiolo Nero 10%
Ageing:
6 months in wood

Characteristics:

Garnet red in color with a delicate and intense bouquet. Ethereal and penetrating. It is harmonious, lively and warm on the palate.

Alcohol:  13 % by volume

Serving: 18°C/ 68° F

Ideally savored with: Red meat, game, hard cheeses.

Morellino di Scansano 

Poggio Pagano DOC 2005

GAVIOLI   

Grapes: Sangiovese, Malvasia nera, Ciliegiolo

Ageing: 6 months in wood

Characteristics:

Distinctive after-taste of fresh fermentation. Decisive yet delicate bouquet, ruby red color tending toward garnet. The taste is full, harmonius, lively and warm.

Alcohol:  13.5 % by volume

Serving: 18°C/ 68° F

Ideally savored with: Red meat, pasta, hard cheeses.
